Our summer vacation has come to a very fast close - we enjoyed South Dakota, and the beauty of God's handiwork amazed and
thrilled us. A big thanks to Ami at Budget Inn in Mitchell. South Dakota for the excellent service and welcome that we received in
that great town. It taught us a lesson on how customers should always be treated, and that indeed, each person was not only a
customer, but a friend - thanks Ami - your attitude will make such a difference in this world!
Thanks to Buddy Phillips - you'll never know Buddy how much it meant to us to have someone who was willing not only to take
care of the animals but to take the time to learn to milk and follow through for us while we were gone - it was a time we could truly
relax and recharge our batteries for the busy fall ahead.
Fall is here - the children are back in school, the 100+ degree temperatures of what seemed to be an unending summer are
behind us, fairs are coming to towns and our new fall fragrance lines are set - check out our soap page for the fragrances we will
be offering along with the old faithfuls that are proven to be your favorites.
We have two new retailers to add to our list - please check them out on our retailers soap page.
4square Gifts in Little Rock is located at 405 President Clinton Avenue right across from the River Market in downtown Little Rock.
We welcome Rashmi and her staff and know that when you are in the Little Rock area on business or visiting you will enjoy
stopping by her great shop and checking out our soap.
The Gift Shop in Hot Springs Arkansas is now carrying our soap - we are awaiting their information to be completed so that we
can add all of their information to this site.
Thank-you to all of our faithful retailers - from Argenta market (locally grown foods and certified), to the Green Corner (hope
Wriggly is feeling better), to King's One Stop (our first retailer), to Rockefeller Institute who has faithfully stood behind us for five
years - our friends in Mississippi to whom we are grateful for, for marketing our soaps, to Linda and Jim up here at Ozark Country
Market in Heber Springs who have allowed us to serve them with a banner year in retailing - you all are appreciated - and we
thank-you from the bottom of our hearts.
To you, our customers - you are the wheels of our business - our sales provide feed for our herd, help pay for our little farm, and
give us the enjoyment of getting out and meeting each and every one of you. The Arkansas Soap Company wouldn't be if it wasn't
for the generosity you display and the faithfulness in purchasing your goat milk soap and lotion from us - we will promise to
always offer you only the best - and we hope that our service to you is what you expect - thank-you so much for everything!
This Tuesday we will be attending the fair here in Heber Springs - Sioux will be able to spend a few days away from the rest of
the bunch while she goes through the excitement of attending her first show - I'm the one that's nervous, but when you get to be in
your 50's and attempt a new experience in life, you hide your shaking knees and get on with it - it will be another cross off in my
bucket list so that's a plus (I think - lol).
Saturday we will be back at the River Market - lotion will be back in stock, so thanks for your patience!
